Jeff Babineau is a Nova Scotia-based freelance camera operator, drone pilot, and creative Director of Photography with more than 25 years of experience behind the lens.

Jeff’s career began with a passion for photography. Years spent working with light, composition, and visual storytelling laid the foundation for his transition into filmmaking and television production. That background continues to shape his work today, informing a strong eye for composition and an intuitive approach to creating compelling imagery.

Over the years, Jeff has contributed to a diverse range of productions, including more than eight unscripted television series, short films, and music videos. His work ranges from capturing the fast-paced, unpredictable moments of unscripted television to crafting cinematic visuals for film and music projects.

As a freelance camera operator, drone pilot, and creative Director of Photography, Jeff brings technical expertise and a creative perspective to every production. A collaborative team member, he is adaptable, dependable, and focused on capturing the visuals that best serve each story.

Through Babineau Visual Media, Jeff brings his experience and expertise to television and film productions throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond.
